cfrag Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 (edited) Allow Take-off from ground for non-AI aircraft (like the Harrier now), so we can simulate road-based FARP for taking off as well as landings (landings work already). Or at least for the Viggen and Hornet (who regularly use road-based airfields in exercises in Sweden and Finland), Tiger (Switzerland), Herc and A-10 (and I'm quite sure some other planes are road-runway capable as well). I've already build missions where you need to land your F/A-18, can refuel and re-load; I just can't start a mission there which is disappointing. Edited February 19, 2021 by cfrag 2
deltatango Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 The Herc at least lets you. I’m making a mission now where you start in the middle of the Iraqi desert. 1 Cheers, DT Junior Member for over 6 years. Difference between Ordinance and Ordnance. My X-52 Pro Profile. cfrag Posted February 19, 2021 Author Posted February 19, 2021 (edited) AFAIK, the (great) Herc's currently slightly bugged in that if you start from ground (as opposed to ramp) and load up cargo, you can't parachute the cargo later. Might have been fixed already, but yeah, thanks for the reminder. I love the Herc! Edited February 19, 2021 by cfrag
