condor64
Hello I am looking for examples of dcs / F18 profiles for the MCG-pro or Ultimate VKB. In order to understand the philosophy of assigning orders to eventually build my own profile. Thanks a lot
Shimmergloom667
What exactly is your question? I just replicated the RL Hornet's buttons on my MCG Pro, with leftover buttons being a bonus. That's how I approach every bird with the MCG Pro. 1 i7 - 9700K | 32 GB DDR4 3200 | RTX 2080 | VKB Gunfighter Mk II /w MCG Pro | Virpil T-50CM2 Throttle | TrackIR 5 | VKB Mk. condor64
Ok tanks ; you don't program modifiers shift 1 or 2 , neither the gate/cont ?
TimRobertsen
Just fly a lot, and map stuff as you go Its a continuous process Someone else's mapping might not be right for you, in the end. Sorry for the boring answer Edited February 23, 2021 by TimRobertsen 3 First become an aviator, then become a terminator

I want to replicate everything as close to RL as possible. So given that the F-18 doesn't have more controls on the stick, I don't map anything more (and the Countermeasures switch is unrealistic already, the Hornet has it on the throttle, which is why I removed it again, the picture is a bit older). In my F-16 and A-10, the "Gate/Cont"-labeled hat switch is being used as the TMS switch, so there I use it of course. You might to do it differently of course, but as TimRobertsen said: you will have to figure that out for yourself. dburne
I map mine (currently VKB Ultimate) based on the recommendations in Chuck's Guide for the aircraft. At least as close as I can. kengou
I don't have a VKB stick but here are my mappings, based as closely as possible with the real Hornet HOTAS, in case it helps: 1 Virpil WarBRD | Thrustmaster Hornet Grip | Foxx Mount | Thrustmaster TWCS Throttle | Logitech G Throttle Quadrant | VKB T-Rudder IV | TrackIR 5 AMD Ryzen 5 3600 | Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB | 32GB DDR4 3200 | SSD
