Knuckle rapper

In theory should be pretty simple, though require some of that DCS Bios stuff. If Simshaker can make AoA vibrate a motor, you can, too. Extra points if you make it hit hard enough to bruise 😉

If the aircraft is close or exceeding the AoA limit, then the stick is likely full back.

If there is something that ‘raps the knuckles’ of the pilot, then whatever does this has to extend out quite some way in order to connect with the pilots pinkies.

Pretty sure this is only metaphorical!

😂

You really wouldn’t want anything impinging on the movement of the stick.

The american Red Eagle pilots (Constant Peg program) had this system in their MiG-23MS and called it "knuckle rapper". It (gently) rapped their knuckles when they exceeded the maximum angle of attack (depending on the wing sweep angle). In later MiG-23 variants, it was replaced by a "stick stopping device" (SOUA). You can see it on the picture, it's the foam rubber coated thingy on the braking lever (it moves independently from the lever though).
