dorianR666 Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 (edited) Hi, will INS drift (without GPS corrections) be simulated on the new A-10C? I know it wasn't on the old one. I'm porting the old Sturmovik campaign to the new A-10C and I've noticed GPS is still available even when in Redfor with Unrestricted SATNAV disabled. Which is a bit non-immersive for the story of that campaign Edited March 4, 2021 by dorianR666 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X GPU: AMD RX 580
QuiGon Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Yeah, the A-10C lacks a bit behind in simulation compared to the more recent modules. It does indeed not have any INS simulation and instead has a GPS that magically works all the time, even if SATNAV is restricted in the mission. I really wish they would implement a true INS simulation with drift and such, as there is on the more recent modules, but I don't think this will happen. 1 Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
