Hello and welcome to DCS-Update Witching Utility. DCS-UwU provides several functions that will prepare your DCS install for a DCS update. Many people swear by these practices. Many do not use them at all. Both with various results. That is why I find the name of the utility quite appropriate. This is not an “everyday” utility. It is meant to be used sparingly, only when you need it. Happy Witching!!! Note: This program has functions that deletes files. It has been tested on multiple systems to keep accidental occurrences to a minimum, aka, zero. If you are not willing to assume that risk or are not comfortable with that, do not use DCS-UwU!

Hello,

I am discovering your work and I think you are the right person for my request.
There are more and more ship mods available for DCS.  It is possible (subject to having combined arms it seems to me) to interact in a restricted way with these ships (setting a route for example).

Do you think it is possible to have an application to "take control" of ships?

I honestly have no idea if that is possible. Sounds like a cool idea though, a remote battlefield commander of sorts.

terrain clear is backwards compatible

So I noticed that base.lua in Mods\terrains\{TerrianName}\misc\metacache contains a list of files that are in base directory.

After cleaning and doing a free flight video, base.lua has a files list for files that do not exist anymore

Should base.lua be cleaned as well?

Good find. I don’t know. If you can find or conduct some solid testing to confirm, it would help quite a lot. I could then integrate the findings into the utility.
