Xilon_x Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 yes, I too, who am Italian, would pay for a jaguar but the thing that saddens so much and having lost the BAE HAWK plane of the British aerobatic team in DCS is a big loss in DCS. 3

Evoman Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 (edited) It would be nice if you guys would include pictures or videos to help your case. Geez. By the way I chose this picture to show off the Jaguars unique landing gear that is designed to operate off fields. Edited February 6, 2022 by Evoman 3

Tank50us Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 One thing to note... it's "SEPECAT Jaguar", not Spectat, SEPECAT. I think this aircraft would make a good 'counter' to the Su25T as a freebie since it's almost as capable in both air to air, and air to ground, and it's basically been used all over the place, and is still in use today. 1

rkk01 Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 Childhood and teenage memories of looking down on Jags tearing down Welsh valleys, pulling up, then rolling inverted over the next ridge line… (Not my images…) Also used to see (and hear) the occasional low-level strike exercise against the nearby navy base.. thing of the past these days 3

The sidewinders were there for emotional support... The GR3a with the 97 upgrade so we have the Helmet sight thingy.. 1 The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Interesting thing I remember: I saw a few Saudi or Kuwaiti Jaguars coming back during Desert Storm having the Sidewinders mounted ON TOP of the wing... must have been a ME add-on? 1
SlimJimIV Posted February 16, 2022 Posted February 16, 2022 Given the relatively recent withdrawal from RAF service, I doubt the MoD would allow the data on the Jag to be released, but if they were to be receptive I would 100% get the Jag day 1 High speed, smooth brain

The Jaguar GR1 would certainly fill a niche for a Cold War strike aircraft just fine. It’s old-school-cool and non-secretive. I think it would be great. 1
Bremspropeller Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 A Jag would be quite spectatular Nah seriously! I'd buy one - would be great if there was a british and a french version. 1 So ein Feuerball, JUNGE!
