Why can I not assign certain keybindings? For example Auto Start in the Viggen.

Hello,

 

As the topic say I am unable to bind certain key bindings to the Warthog Throttle or Stick. I'd like to add Auto Start for all aircraft to Button 32 on my throttle. In most it is available, but not in the Viggen. In that aircraft the feature is greyed out for the Warthog Throttle and Stick.

 

The same goes for Flashlight in the A-10C

 

Any ideas?

think u mean to start engine? create a keycombi in T.A.R.G.E.T software for no.32 with delays like:

 

press w, delay0

press shift h, delay 25

press ctrl t, delay 75 and so on.

 

the soft works through this step by step if button used!

You need to edit the Viggen's

d:\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Input\FA-18C\joystick\default.lua

 to add the auto start key combo from the 

d:\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Input\FA-18C\keyboard\default.lua

A bit complicated, but a guide exits in this forum.

I understand. This was not really what I was after, as I was more wondering why it is greyed out and not available in some aircraft within DCS.
