I have a really strange problem that I have been unable to figure out: instead of looking forward in the cockpit in F1 view my view is by default  up and to the left looking at my canopy. other views and all other aircraft F1 views are fine. When I look at my pilot he looks to be looking up and left at the canopy as well???? I have run a repair, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the F18 module with no result??? totally jacking up my track IR usability when I center it it centers on the jacked up up and left view of the #$@% canopy. Not sure where to go from here? thanks for any help...this is a strange one?????

I'm uncertain, just giving ideas. Can you check your F-18 keybinds section and make sure there are no duplicate binds? Also make sure there's nothing bound in DCS to the key that track ir uses to center view.

Is it possible you accidentally hit RAlt + Num0 at some point? That sets the default view.

You can move your head to looking back forward again and then hit RAlt + Num0 to save that as your new view. You can also manually edit the default view parameters in the Saved Games\DCS(OpenBeta)\Config\View\SnapViews.lua file.

The nuclear option would be to delete that file, which will set all custom views for all aircraft back to default. If you haven't set up any custom default views or snap views at all this wouldn't break anything.
