Hi guys,

I'm wondering if anyone can shed any light on this issue I'm having. It's nothing major but it's annoying.

When I'm flying and perform a turn after a few seconds of straight and level I get a stutter. It happens mostly with the Viper although does happen now and then in the Hornet. It kind of hesitates when you put the input in and causes a stutter and then it's fine. It's weird.

My PC is:

8700k @4.8ghz

1080Ti overclocked

32gb RAM

Asus PG278QR 1440p G-Sync monitor 165hz

I run TrackIR but it does it regardless of whether I'm using that or not.

My monitor is set to 120hz and my FPS is capped at 60FPS. V-Sync off in game but on in NVCP.

Apart from this it's fine, no stutters at all.

Thanks, Jonny

Have you added the autoexec.cfg to this folder?

C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config

Content of the autoexec.cfg file:

no_device_hotplug = true

I forgot to put that in the post to be fair but I've done that already, had that in the .cfg file for quite a while now. Although weirdly it does almost seem like it's that kind of issue...

I think I may have sorted it....I had my X52 stick and throttle plugged into a powered USB hub. Plugged it directly into the PC now and it seems fine. Fingers crossed.

The stuttering was pretty bad for me until I added that file. Then it was like night and day. No stuttering at all. I have a new machine now and I too get an occasional stutter but nothing like without that file. I suspect from me it may be the USB issue with the AMD 500 series chipset. AMD found the issue and a new bios for all motherboards is expected in April.

I would expect no stuttering with my new system which is much improved over my old that had no stuttering once I added that autoexec.cfg.
