Dedicated server options (.lua files)

Recommended Posts

Is there any documentation on the server configuration .lua files? For example, the graphics settings or wake turbulence and external view configuration, do they have any use? Do they have priority over clients configuration?

Thanks!

Graphics settings of server doesn't affects client settings.
Server itself by its .lua config file doesn't enforce any of this parameters ( turbulence, view etc... ), you can choose if you wants enforce to all client this settings in Mission Editor, or leave it "opened" and all clients can use its own preferred settings.

If you plan to create a server PvP normally it's a good idea enforce all options 😉
Personally I did it also for my PvE servers as well.

So definitely, what you're asking is not related to server config but to the mission that is running in that moment.
