I recommend you to switch to ob because you can get updates quicker and there are more servers

If you have room for both, keep both. If something breaks seriously in a future open beta update, you still can revert back to the stable version in a jiffy.

You can just copy an entire stable version and make an open beta out of it.

Then for upgrading to open beta, just use this:  It just give you update and launch control to any version you have installed. Best tool available!!

Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base, MFG Crosswind pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S, Elgato Streamdeck XL.

Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!

I had the same problem, there is a handy program that lets you go from 2.5.6 to 2.7 OB. "DCS Updater Utility.exe". Worked great for me."
