Caldera Posted April 15, 2021 Posted April 15, 2021 Hey Guys, I love 2.7 so far! There are some changes. I have a question about the after action debriefing. The event bda in the second line from the bottom. I believe this is new. What does it stand for? Caldera 1
Caldera Posted April 15, 2021 Author Posted April 15, 2021 Fox, At this point Too Be Determined (TBD) is allot closer.... Caldera
Frederf Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 Battle damage assessment. There might be a feature (or coming) where your battle effects are hidden and you only see things which have BDA event. You might want to test blind vs non-witnessed hits. E.g. Maverick over a mountain and run away before impact.
buur Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 bda shows up on a critical dammage. Unit is burning but not exploded. The kill message comes when the unit explode
Frederf Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 BDA event definitely occurs on moment that unit is health zero and removed from map but before kill-explode. I still wonder if it's possible to not get BDA event if you're too far away to realize event occurred.
Caldera Posted May 13, 2021 Author Posted May 13, 2021 Buur is correct. If I see the message something like "T-55 critically damaged" and then later "T-55 destroyed" then bda pops up on the event list before the kill. Caldera
