My Oculus VR Headset was working perfectly with DCS 2.5 at first...but
after upgrading to HP Reverb G2 had to switch to Steam/Microsofts Windows
Mixed Reality and the VR problems starts.
DCS Updates do not resolve and keeps to unable entering in VR (Microsoft
Mixed Reality). Therefore I removed version DCS 2.5 and reinstalled the DCS
Steam edition VR 2.7 version... but problem stays, it is still impossible
to enter in VR. (only thing that is working DCS on monitor/screen)
I purchased several DCS products: F/A-18C Hornet ($79.99 USD) and H-1H Huey
($24.99 USD) ...but disappeared after reinstalling version DCS 2.7 .
To reactivate the purchased products on DCS Steam edition you need to enter
codes but are nowhere to retrieve. The only thing I have is order number
1124591 and 1132164 (date 14 and 23 dec 2020)
As result it became impossible to use VR and lost my planes.

If you bought your modules on the ED DCS World Shop site you can only use them with the DCS standalone(not steam) version. There is a red notification text everytime you buy a module on the ED shop site warning you about that. If you bought your modules on steam there is a way to activate them in the standalone version of DCS but not vice versa.

I can't help you with your VR problem because i use a Rift S and not a MS mixed reality compatible VR headset but you could have a look in the VR part of the forums and ask for help with your headset there:

Why Is This On Weather?

Because this his his/her first post, and it looks like he/she is a little lost with this forum structure and no mod has moved this to the right sub-forum yet - so i thought i might help at least a little instead of the default barking "wrong forum".....

Hi, I also have Reverb G2 and I am using the stand-alone version. To run DCS standalone in VR I do the following:

1. Plug in the headset/start Mixed Reality Portal.

2. Start SteamVR. Normally it starts automatically when launching DCS, but I have on occasion had problems. When starting SteamVR manually everything works well.

3. Run DCS in VR mode. I have set up a shortcut with the command line parameter --force_enable_VR, but this is not necessary.
