Looks like this affects AMD cards, for the most part, although some Nvidia users are also experiencing it.

It's odd, since I've been using this card for years and never experienced problems with DCS before 2.7.

After updating the AMD drivers to the latest version I no longer encountered the problem.

Will report if it the problem occurs again.

It was fine before updating to 2.7

 

Also tried a clean complete reinstall of the latest AMD card driver.

It looks ok initially but the issue came back after few hours of playing...

 

Most of time the issue occurred randomly when zoom in, zoom out, move around in the F10 map...

Same issue. 5700XT card, latest stable channel drivers from AMD.

It triggers almost every DCS session and makes the mission editor unusable. To make matters worse it's now merged to stable as well.

 

Has anyone at ED managed to reproduce the issue?

Is it being worked on, or is more information needed?

 

I'll also gladly settle for any workaround that doesn't involve buying a NVIDIA card.

 

edit: I would suggest changing the title. It's a general UI bug and triggers at least in any 2D map view as far as I can tell - the mission editor is also affected.

I get the same problem since at least the launch of 2.7. After flying for a while all icons disappears from the F10 map, and in some cases icons even disappears on the start menu. Graphic elements have also disappeared on the "select role" screen.

Computer is about 6 months old, but due to the current graphics card situation I'm still using my old AMD R9 290 graphics card. Drivers have been updated at least twice since the problem started appearing for me, haven't noticed any difference because of that.

Issue still persists in latest OB 2.7.2.7910.1

As stated several times in this thread, it's a general issue that affects both AMD and Nvidia users, either in MP or SP. 
Doesn't seem to be driver related, looks like it's a bug introduced in 2.7, something breaks the UI of the entire game. 

Are you guys still looking into it? Is anybody looking into it?
