In-DCS music

HI

I really like to fly just for fun and I would appreciate kind of music player, just to hear my favorite music while attacking British coast on the channel map, or just doing some acrobatics....

Action menu could be something like today's intercom menu in L39, that style and entities. That all could be coupled with apple music account or other music service providers.

thanks

the PC can run programs in parallel, I run YT music on background, with DCS on top. The player is controlled using the multimedia keys of my keyboard.

Hi

Yes that is true. But you have to switch between windows. Imagine you are driving your car and your radio is on the roof you have to stop every time you want to change song ....😂😂😂
i actually don’t really use keyboard , it is not comfortable together with oculus rift.

Not really, the Multimedia keys are ignored by DCS and taken by the player on background, no need to switch windows. I use a Samsung Pleomax, that has the multimedia keys arranged on a diamond layout that makes it easy to operate without watching .. the keys on the side extremes change songs, while the central keys handle the volume:

Also, playing "Ritt der Valküren" should be mandatory for any Huey gunship mission

warbirds with 40s jazz playlists going on your music streaming service of choice.. :chefskiss:

what heatblur did with the viggen and f14 is cool, and it would be nice to see that extended to other planes in historically appropriate ways. warbirds can tune to one of the radio channels for music, but can't ff/rewind :). walkman/tape for 70s and 80s, where you can ff/rewind but not skip songs. modern planes get ipod/zune. small 3d model attached somewhere exposing music player controls. one of the super low-to-no priority things that, once there, is awesome and something people didn't know they needed.

thank you for answers gents, but I am not really looking for replacements or work around solutions.

Tomcat solves that for me in a nice way, and as I wrote at the beginning some king of music player window like intercom one would be great. Online music service support just bombastic ...
