Can't turn on SSAA

When i click on the dropdown menu to change my SSAA settings, the only selectable box is "OFF".  What am i doing wrong?

Same here, and I'm also running at 2160p resolution. Maybe they disabled it for 4K?

it's an option to have more pixels on the screen for people who play at a lower resolution, you are already in 4k, you can't have the option

You could try forcing it on via options.lua in Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config

["SSAA"] = 2, (2x)

Thanks, I tried that earlier and it still doesn't work. I'm just running MSAA 4x and it looks incredibly sharp.

this option can only be enabled at lower resolutions.  ED has limited its use.

But why? It worked perfectly for me before.... (in 4K).

Is there an official statement for that?

If you search the forums SSAA was never meant to be on for anything over 1080p resolutions. That was ED saying that a long time ago.

 

Looks like they are enforcing it now.

Did it? Or did it just allow you to set the option while quietly doing nothing? They could have simply changed it so that the options reflect the reality.
