UH1 Training Missions Bugs

1. The pickup training mission has a bug with the caption text. Previous captions do not go away and the whole of the captions start scrolling through each caption box.

2. The landing training mission has fog down to ground level.

 

Using Beta version 2.7.0.5118 with Oculus Rift.

Hehe, that ground fog was a rude surprise to me as well. The joys or running a 2.5 mission unaltered in 2.7 (I had to set the weather to a preset). A friend of mine complained that the landing mission was too difficult, and so, after much complaining I joined as crew to see what his problem was. Yeah, 100 feet visibility to ground definitely put a crimp on her style

The weapons training mission also has a weird bug.

Please provide tracks.

To create a track, play the mission, and after exiting it click on the "Save Track" button.

I'm happy to provide a track if necessary, but the steps to reproduce this are likely easier than to run a track, given that you click on the training option and then click on the landing tutorial, followed by proceeding to fly the mission.

I've attached a screenshot from the landing tutorial, taken at 200ft AGL.  I don't entirely believe that this level of visibility is intended in a training mission, unless the intention is to haze new Huey pilots.

Bug 1 was fixed.

Bug 2 was reported last year and I bumped the report a month ago.
