rkk01
“Observer” really jumped out at me from this post: https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/260567-less-famous-mosquito-stories/?do=findComment&comment=4646069 I’ve really only been thinking of the second crew member as Navigator How cool would it be to have an Observer calling out contacts as the pilot concentrates on the flying...
Mogster
Yes the AI nav should really call out contacts, it seems to have been an important part of the job.
Bozon
Doesn’t Jester do that on the F-14? 1 “Mosquitoes fly, but flies don’t Mosquito” :pilotfly: - Geoffrey de Havilland. ... well, he could have said it!
Weta43
He should call contacts, Ideally he should also (if selected) be able to give spontaneous advice on course, altitude and speed to achieve intended TOWP/TOT (selected via options like 'verbose', 'sparse', 'on request', or 'silent'). 4 Cheers. bell_rj
Has there ever been any mention by ED of providing some sort of AI navigator/observer? I think it would be an awesome addition if they did it. I'd like to be able to ask my nav to assess fuel state and battle damage. /Edit: I see that the Mossie product page says: Quote Phase 2 features we are working on: Operator's AI for multi-crew This sound like it might be what I'm hoping for perhaps? Is ther any further info anywhere on how this might work? Edited September 21, 2021 by bell_rj More info found PC specs:

Bozon
If the tutorial missions are any indication, our observer is going to be “Archie”. 1 “Mosquitoes fly, but flies don’t Mosquito” :pilotfly: - Geoffrey de Havilland. ... well, he could have said it!
