This Happens with DCS only post 2.7 - no mods, all drivers up to date , cleaned and repaired. IL2, Elite dangerous and other heavy duty games have no issues. Only DCS and with 2.7. Wasnt getting these before 2.7 dcs.log
Flappie
Hi @mtd2811. Your log shows nothing wrong before the big freeze. DCS freezes are most of the time caused by: a custom script triggered from Export.lua (rename your Export.lua and see if DCS gets better) a bloated "%TEMP%\DCS(openbeta)" folder (empty it and see if DCS gets better) a bloated "C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA Corporation\NV_Cache" folder (empty it, and click "Ignore" when Windows protests - some files are being used by other apps) a conflicting app (start by adding DCS folders as exceptions - see below / uninstall Razer Synapse 3 / disable Wallpaper Engine / disable Tacview recording / disable NVIDIA Share / disable Windows Game bar DVR...) a slow/damaged drive/damaged SATA cable ... Add these folders as exceptions in your antivirus: F:\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\DCS.exe C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta Happy hunting! Flappie
Absolutely. Using Windows Resource Monitor to monitor drive response time when playing DCS is also a good idea.
