Ironhand Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 No :) I'm going to amplify Viper's rather spare response, since it's ambiguous in its simplicity. He could be saying: "No. No one knows." Or: "No. It does not have that function." He means the latter. :) There is no auto-throttle in the -25T. Sorry, Viper. I couldn't help myself. Vekkinho Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 Hi everyone! Does anyone know if the su25t has this function? because hitting J key is not working in the T. Thanks Scuda People get spoiled by flying SFM in LOFC! No autothrottle, and trim reset on russian birds featured in LOFC. IRL you do all that by yourself! I'm not very familiar with USFOR and European planes but I believe only planes with FLCS (flickus) may sport something similar! However, although FLCS supported, F-16 has no autothrottle either! IRL you do all that by yourself! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
GGTharos Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 IIRC most modern aircraft with autopilot with adjust the throttle to match planned speed/time - at least on commercial aircraft. I could see why you wouldn't put such a thing onboard a fighter though. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
Skkuda Posted September 29, 2008 Author Posted September 29, 2008 Thank you all! I´m not going to miss that feature (J) I can live whithout autothrottle function. As you make me see it´s another real option that developers give us to fill our needs in a good sim. Rich, by the way i´m watching most of your training missions, since I get a better internet connection and I´m able to download all of your tracks.
