Dcs crashes unless I set OpenXr Runtime to SteamVR

I have a Reverb G2.  I would prefer Windows Mixed Reality to be the runtime, but DCS always crashes mid flight unless I set the runtime to SteamVR in SteamVR settings.

Is there a workaround for this?

That's most odd as DCS doesn't use OpenXR as far as I'm aware.

Interesting that appears to be a new option with the beta of WMR for Steam VR. I solved my crashing problem by opting out of the Beta, just opted back in and changed that option to off as well, will see how it does later on in the morning.

Turning that option off did not help, had to opt out of Beta of WMR for Steam VR again to get it to run.

Will try setting Steam VR as default for Open XR and see if that changes anything.

Awww, sorry, VR is so frustrating... far too many variables 😞

Nope that did not work either. I pretty much have to opt out of the Beta of WMR for Steam VR in order to get DCS to run ok in VR.

If you go the WMR / SteamVR road that is. Oculus (i can only talk about the Rift S) is as good as plug & play (but then that's F..kbook these days so... ).
