104th_Crunch Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 Hi guys, Need some help please with Track play back. When playing back tracks from some other players in my own installation of Lock On, they will play back fully zoomed. There is no way to zoom out when I play them back. Regardless, I don't want to manually zoom as it resets the Track's recording of the pilot's head movement. My own Tracks as well as other people's Tracks I view on my install of Lock On play back fine. I have only had had this problem with 2 individuals. One of the individuals did a full re-install of Lock On, recorded a new Track and sent it to me but the problem is still there. It will playback fine on his installation, but on mine as well as others, it will play back fully zoomed. We can't isolate the problem. Here is an example to download. I would really be thankfull for any help!
RedTiger Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 The only time I've ever seen this was when I tried to play a 1.12 track on 1.02 LOMAC. Are those two individuals using a different version?
104th_Crunch Posted October 2, 2008 Author Posted October 2, 2008 (edited) Hi Red Tiger, for sure they are using 1.12 as they fly in Hyper Lobby on our server using 1.12. Good thought though, thanks Edited October 2, 2008 by Crunch
Crayola Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Hey Crunch.. I believe Nemesis had the same problems.. if worse come to worse you can probable just play it under video edit and watch it...

Hi Cray, well the tracks that I was reviewing were for training purposes so it's important to see what the trainee is seeing in terms of their head movement. Good news is I got some help over at Lock On files. Turns out having your zoom mapped to an axis (ex. X-52 slider) can cause this to happen when others watch your track. This fixed the problem with one of the players whose tracks I was reviewing. I am still confirming with the second player. Cheers
Crayola Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Lol I just now read that and came back to post that information. Guess you beat me to it.. lol S!
104th_Crunch Posted February 27, 2009 Author Posted February 27, 2009 (edited) Seems that there can be another cause for this problem. In case anyone else runs in to this. If you have changed the view.lua file simply revert to an original copy! This will fix it. Edited February 27, 2009 by Crunch
