cannot reproduce and missing track file Help - No JHMCS / HMD

Since the last update, I dont appear to have my JHMCS anymore? I know you need to enable it in a mission and am told in the instant action, its on by default. However, in both scenarios, I cant get it to display? I have checked my controller binding for the HMD display brightness knob works fine and I can also try using the mouse on the switch , it turns fine, but no display. In the mission, I ask ground crew to equip, they do and and the NVG's work,, but no HMD

 

Any ideas?

Try the RECCE event hotas binding. That toggles the HMD on and off

Not sure if I am reading what you said correctly. You have a choice of JHMCS or NVG and can't have both for the same flight.

Right, that's a fairly recent change, within the past 5 patches or so. You can have either/or, not both.

Yes, thanks, realized that. My NVG's work, but no HMD is what I am saying. I  also have tried using the R key, it does not appear..... was working fine until a few weeks ago....

Are you using VR or 2D? Maybe try to mess with the option that puts HMD on right / left eye or both.

i have that happening occasionally. usually fast repair solves it (non-steam ed.)

before take off:

-comms menu

-F8 groundcrew

-F8 change helmet mounted device

            -F1 setup JHMCS

            -F2 setup NVG

Guess a repair is the next option, update anyway today it seems.....
