AG-51_Razor
I assume that they have something to do with the various cloud layers and/or cloud coverage but they never stay up long enough for me to get a good read on them. Does anybody have a print out of what they are for each preset and what they mean?? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

AG-51_Razor
HC_Official, I appreciate the reply and the information. I would like to know more about the elevation/cloud heights listed for each preset. Specifically, do they remain constant and just go up and down with the base established in the ME. or do they remain fixed? I wish that ED had printed those METAR reports on the graphic display so that it remained visible all the time. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
DD_Fenrir
The cloud base of the preset is adjustable with the cloud altitude slider within the constraints of the particular preset. Have a play.
=475FG= Dawger
They arent really a valid METAR format, just using some of the abbreviations. They appear to be base and top altitude for each layer.

My original post - clumsily written I grant you - was to see if there was a list somewhere with all that information posted for each preset.
