Exhaust flames and lights. FC3 and kuznetsov.

  1. I cannot reproduce your issue with the "old" Kuznetsov deck lighting. Please check your mods and/or run a "slow" DCS repair.
  2. I see the same thing as you with the Su-33 afterburner effect, but I don't see anything wrong. What's with it?

Now, I see. But I can't reproduce your issue. Please try this:

  1. Go into C:\Users\username\Saved Games\Edit
  2. Rename your "DCS" (or "DCS.openbeta") folder into "DCS_backup" (or DCS.openbeta_backup"). Do NOT delete this folder - it contains your custom controls and settings.
  3. Start DCS and see if your issue is gone.

If it fixes your issue, I'll explain how to retrieve your custom controls.

If it doess't fix your issue, try a "slow" DCS repair.

Here's a track showing both issues. 👌

Next time you see a bug, please consider attaching a track showing the issues.

I did the dcs backup thing though, how do I retrieve my controls without messing up?

  1. Go into C:\Users\username\Saved Games\
  2. If you find a "DCS" (or "DCS.openbeta") folder, rename it anyway you like so the game cannot find it ("DCS_OSEF" will do).
  3. Rename your "DCS_backup" (or "DCS.openbeta_backup") folder into "DCS" (or DCS.openbeta").

It's OK. When you finish a single player mission, before returning to the main menu, you have a "Save track" button which allow you to create tracks.
