I have issues with the TPOD zoom and FLIR/CCD screen not changing even though they are bound to my Raid/FLIR FOV Throttle switch. They work on the MFD switches though . Also .... When weapon designating to WP1, the TPOD doesn't slave to the waypoint. TRK file attached. Am I doing something wrong? Tholozor Posted June 5, 2021 Share Posted June 5, 2021 (edited) At work so I can't look at the track, but the RAID/FOV button gives priority control to the HARM and MAV pages when selected, regardless of TDC assignment. This is by-design. As for WPDSG, that's a known issue. Workaround solution is to assign the TDC off the FLIR page, then WPDSG. It won't matter if you assign the TDC to the FLIR page (that's what I mean by giving priority, it will ignore the TDC assignment). Cheers No, other way around. With the MAV selected, with the RAID/FOV button will only work for the MAV, not FLIR. Doesn't matter if the TDC is assigned to the the MAV or FLIR page (the button will ignore where the TDC is assigned), it will only work for the MAV when selected (boxed on the STORES page). The RAID/FOV button is context-sensitive, in that performs a different task depending on what's going on in the jet. When I refer to the "FLIR page" I mean the TGP display on the DDI since it's listed as 'FLIR' on the top row. -Condor- Posted June 6, 2021 Author Share Posted June 6, 2021 (edited) Tholozor Ok I am referring to the RAID/FLIR switch which when in A-G mode with Mavericks loaded changes the FOV of the TPOD image from Wide to Narrow as described previous post. This is not working for me until I unload my weapons on target then suddenly this function begins to work. See attached TRK file. I know RAID is to do with Radar but I haven't mentioned Radar so not sure why you're referring to Radar. I have always been referring to A-G weapons mode. Tholozor Posted June 6, 2021 Share Posted June 6, 2021 (edited) I've explained this already. When a Maverick or HARM is loaded and selected, the RAID/FOV button will not work for the TGP. The missile will override control of that button, even if you put the TDC on the TGP, it won't matter, the missile takes priority. Once the weapon is gone or deselected, it will work for the TGP again. This is by design. I was confused regarding RAID because it's highlighted in your pictures and thought you were asking what it does for A/G mode. I think I was confused as I have been flying the A10C for so long I was expecting the same functionality with the Hornet to change the FOV in the TPOD whilst MAV's are selected when slaving the missiles.
