Gryzor
When RAIN is enabled, even it is invisible (bug in latest patch), it makes a big FPS hit (in VR, with an average of 4ms more ...for example, from 13ms to 17 ms... -30% in performance). Please traslate to the DEVS. Thanks. Edited June 8, 2021 by Gryzor

TOViper
I also made some tests, in order to understand my system a bit better. Since I am on low specs, I have to carefully read these sections of the forum Today, I was looking for fps on my 1920x1080 screen, not VR. GFX: Nvidia GeForce 1070, Intel 6700 4,5GHz, RAM @3000MHz, 32GB 1.) Scene in Creech/Nevada in spectator view that shows up when starting the mission: Rain droplets OFF: "Overcast + Rain 2": 92 Rain droplets ON: "Overcast + Rain 2": 92 Some more cloud presets using this scene: Rain droplets OFF: "Overcast 2": 105 Rain droplets OFF: "Broken 2": 105 Rain droplets OFF: "Scattered 2": 107 Rain droplets OFF: "Light Scattered 2": 107 Rain droplets OFF: "None": 126 2.) Now with F-15C as pilot and cold on ramp at parking position A01, looking South (not comparable situation with the one above!) Rain droplets ON: "Overcast + Rain 2": 69 Rain droplets OFF: "Overcast + Rain 2": 75 Rest of the settings see below, and one reference screenshot for 2.)
