scottysonfire Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Ive just installed Flaming Cliffs over my Lock On version 1.02. I tried the quickfly mission in the F-15 just to quickly have a look at things and Ive immediately noticed I cant zoom out as much as I used to be able to in LOMAC 1.02. I cant get that nice "wide angle" view in the F-15 cockpit. The view will only zoom out to about 75% as wide as it used to. Is this a bug from the new installation? Or is this an intended?designed view limitation in the F-15 in Flaming Cliffs? Anyone else experienced this? Or can anyone confirm thsi is a fault or not? "I feel the need..."
Majesco Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 you must uninstall your LOFC + LOMAC then reinstall the original version of LOMAC 1.0 => upgrade to LOFC 1.1 => install 1.12B patch / do not install patch 1.02 for LOMAC before upgrading to LOFC
scottysonfire Posted October 17, 2008 Author Posted October 17, 2008 OK great... I'll give it a try. Thanks for the help "I feel the need..."
scottysonfire Posted October 17, 2008 Author Posted October 17, 2008 OK, Ive done all that. The game looks great, but i still cant get the view to zoom out as far as it used to in the F-15 any further help? "I feel the need..."
RedTiger Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 OK, Ive done all that. The game looks great, but i still cant get the view to zoom out as far as it used to in the F-15 any further help? There are some files in your LOMAC folder that allow you to tweak all sorts of things, and I know for a fact one of them has to do with your maxe view angle. I wish I could provide more info than this. I can tell you that LoCFG (you can get this from Lockonfiles.com) gives you the ability to tweak these figures without messing with those files. Since my info isn't as great as I'm sure others will provide, just consider this a bump. :smilewink:
scottysonfire Posted October 17, 2008 Author Posted October 17, 2008 Cool! Thanks for the info. Awaiting some more detailed instructions then from some other kind advanced users... "I feel the need..."
