Is there a way of downloading the new update onto a external hard drive (where I can get better Wifi) and uploading to my PC where I have poor wifi. Not sure if this can be done ? thanks for your help! draconus Posted June 18, 2021 Share Posted June 18, 2021 You can use any PC anywhere to install DCS https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/stable/ If it can run DCS you can also install owned modules to it after login. You can then copy the main DCS folder into your own PC and run the update - all the files should be checked and accepted as correct new version by the updater. You can either overwrite the files that already are installed (not tested but should work) or copy them to _download folder in main DCS installation folder (safer but needs twice the space).
