Rainbowgeorge Posted June 21, 2021 Share Posted June 21, 2021 (edited) Hello everyone. I think the Igla-S MANPADS are underperforming a lot in DCS. The 10M3 Strela hits much more reliably, even though the missile is from the 1970s, while the Igla-S is from 2004. That is a 40 year technology difference. Even if the Igla we have in DCS is not supposed to be an 9K338 Igla-S but a 9K38 Igla, it would still be a decade ahead in technology. The iglas are not able to hit targets, if the missile has to turn at all. I will attach 2 tacview files, if more in-game data is needed, i am happy to provide more.
