JSOW TERM HDG not respected

Is this not implemented or am I doing something wrong? 
 

JSOW in Too mode. 
Designate target with TGP.

Enter JSOW Dsply and change TERM HDG data to a heading.

 

Release weapon.

 

Now I understand it won’t do a 180 turn or anything crazy but I don’t seem to get ANY adherence on the HDG entered.

It's not implemented with JSOW (yet?).

 

It is with JDAM, but you have to be careful and only input headings that make sense given your approach/flightpath heading, +- 30 degrees...ish....works OK. There's still not a dynamic IZLAR that displays a correct LAR area for respecting the TERM parameters, even for JDAM.

 

Will TERM ever be implemented for JSOW? Nobody knows.

I hope it gets implemented soon, as to me, it makes even more sense to use the TERM data for JSOWs as they are glide weapons.

They can work without specifying terminal parameters. In that case, they'll use default/undefined parameters
