Hi Im currently playing Dcs world with a core2 Duo 3.06ghz E7500 and works fine with 8 GB RAM and Nvidia gt1030 but Im a bit concern about the procesor because Dcs uses frm 50% to 90% most of the time and muy question Is if I keep playing Dcs It Will be bad for my CPU?

As long as it is not overheating it will be fine, to check that you can use HWMonitor for example. Your CPU shouldn't go over 90 degrees celsius, it can withstand more but keeping it under 90 is a generally a good idea;P

P.S. consider upgrading if you can

By curiosity, which DCS version are you using?  ... I wonder because my rig is much more powerful and the performance I get out of DCS 2.7  is not what I would call fine 😞

I use 2.7 with some low textures mod I made Up myself but already downgraded to 2.5, the Game was only going to 12 FPS even tough its pretty amazing for a C2D

OK, I would have guessed that you were on version 1.5 ... even tough it may be good performance for a C2D, for me it would be unplayable 😧

If you are not for now able to upgrade your hardware, maybe downgrading to version 1.5 may be worthwhile.

Best regards,

Eduardo

I use an older e6850 at 2.9Ghz only 2 cores.
FYI, remove the bottom cover, and prop the laptop up about 1 inch and it will run 15-20C cooler.   Don't touch/block the fan or cooling pipes, etc.

VKB Gladiator Pro, Freetracker IR 3d printed, TM MkII HOTAS circa 1985 w/USB
Asus 27" 2560x1440 60fps (so constrain DCS to 60fps)    F-16, F-18

Im done with 2.7, 9 to 12 FPS makes the Game unplayable, I downgraded to 2.5 and trying diferrent settings by editibg the config graphis file in order to get at least 20 FPS
