Because the Limitation of the Engine ( Multicore etc). and the upcomming Simmers who are playing flightsims with VR it would be the nex logical step to change the engine to support Vulkan and benefits from Performance gains of the3 low level api.... Ed talking in the newsletter of 2021 but since this mail in the beginning of this year nothing new is heard about this..... same on the dynamic Campaing native in dcs....... are this importand features on ice.. or any news about it ..
