Cockpit update/repaint in future?

As DCS WW2 planes are slowly getting better after every update (K4 sound for example, super work!), i wish that at some point K4 cockpit will get some attention too. Don't get me wrong, it's still very good looking pit but after these years it does start to look bit dated compared to latest ones. However one thing is always been wrong with it, and that's the light blueish color of it. Way too light compared to real RLM 66. So if it get updated in near future, please consider of painting it with correct RLM 66 black grey this time. Here is some reference pics from Arsenal-45 fb site (i didn't use full-cockpit pics because it's impossible to find ones that are taken without flash). As you see, even in direct sunlight real color is much darker than ours in game. Would love to play DCS without any mods in future.

Had an rare opportunity to sit in cockpit of original Bf 109 G6 couple of days ago. Was pretty awesome..i can only confirm what pilots said, cockpit is small but very well laid out, everything is easily reachable and it's fits like a glove around you (unless youre very tall). And i can also confirm that 3d model of cockpit in DCS is pretty much spot on, after countless hours of flying with VR the real deal felt really similar right away. Anyhow, it also confirms the point of this topic, wich is rlm 66, or lack of it in-game. Some of the parts of G6 cockpit is painted wrong colours as you can see but gauge panel and cannon cover for example are rlm 66, and it is very dark colour in real life, looks almost black when canopy is closed.

Just look at that beautiful plane. Can't wait DCS G6 some day...because eventually it'll have to come sooner or later.

I just completely redid and upgraded my old cockpit skin and made it English here:

It's not exactly what you're looking for as I didn't try to do a perfect historical match, but it's very dark grey and somewhat historically colored, and may be closer to what you're looking for.

Color looks good there. Do you have plans to do that for original (german) cockpit too?

I can, shouldn't be too hard to put the original text back in.

Great, lookin forward to that version! If possible, i would also prefer to have original yellow textures as well, as it was color code for fuel controls and for my eye it doesen't look exactly correct without them 🙂
