skypickle
I set a SPI using TGP China hat forward long to slave all sensors to SPI Select maverick (of course it's warmed up) and make it SOI. I see the target through the maverick camera I see the big crosshair but there is a small space in the center where the lines do not intersect I think this means it has no lock. when I try to launch I get 'launch inhbt' . I try to ground stabilize (TMS aft) but that does nothing. What sometimes works is to select maverick as SOI and move slew the tdc off the target and back on. It seems the maverick itself has to lock on and will not accept what the TGP is telling it. Then I get the fully intersecting crosshairs on the maverick view and can fire. Is this a known bug or actual intended behavior? 4930K @ 4.5, 32g ram, TitanPascal
Solution Yurgon Posted August 26, 2021 Solution Share Posted August 26, 2021 The Maverick needs to actually track an object, or else it can't be launched and the aforementioned NO TRACK LAUNCH INHIBIT (I think it's a little more abbreviated) will show up. Ground stabilize does not command tracking, so that's no good. In order for the IR- and CCD-Mavericks to track a target, you can either slew the seeker over a target until it tracks, or command a track with TMS Forward Short. Once it tracks, the tracking gate will collapse, and start flashing. If I'm not mistaken, the collapsing part is correct, while the flashing is a deviation from how it works IRL. But anyway, the Mav page will give you feedback for a good track, and then you can rifle it off. 2
