Purchased a set of the MFD panels.

What is recommended as for as the drivers? Download from Thrustmaster or just let Windows do it's thing?

What is the easiest hassle free route?

  • 72westy changed the title to Thrustmaster MFD ?s

The thrustmaster software actually gives you some good options for controlling the lights and numbers, very handy if you ever intend to get a second set.

Thanks guys. I installed the MFD drivers but not the T.A.R.G.E.T. software. Is it worth installing it?

Not worth installing target, imo. Something like joystick gremlin is better for that kind of customization.

+1 on the thrustmaster drivers. Then through windows usb game controllers window you can set the ID's. I run 3 MFD's, and before installing that driver I had 2 'F16 MFD 2' devices that would sometimes get mixed up. With the driver can set the third to ID 3.
