fylzz
Hi guys, It seems to me that the HUD is drawn way too thick. I'm playing open beta with no mods in 5120x1440. What do you think? Is this a known issue ? Tholozor
Try turning the HUD brightness down a tad, you might be seeing bloom. fylzz
This is with brightness already turned down below the bloom effect. :Ryzen 5800X | RTX3090 | 32Gb RAM | Nvme SSD Gen.4 | Reverb G2 | Virpil WarBrd Base | Constellation Alpha Grip / Virpil CM3 Throttle

nighthawk2174
^ This I've been using this for quite some time its a really nice mod. I wish ED themselves would just tune down the values themselves.

ShaunX
..ah, I spoke too soon. Although the HUD looks much better now, I'm finding that in VR, my DDI's are now too dim to read without zooming in, and that's with max brilliance and contrast. fylzz
Ok thanks. I have played around a bit and got some good results. I think the scaling of the thickness is wrong over some resolution. :Ryzen 5800X | RTX3090 | 32Gb RAM | Nvme SSD Gen.4 | Reverb G2 | Virpil WarBrd Base | Constellation Alpha Grip / Virpil CM3 Throttle
Hammer1-1
Ive always found the HUD to be a little too solid when it should be more opaque...but then again Ive never sat in a hornet before. 1 Intel 13900k @ 5.8ghz | 64gb GSkill Trident Z | MSI z790 Meg ACE| Zotac RTX4090 | Asus 1000w psu | Slaw RX Viper 2 pedals | VKB Gunfighter Mk3 MCE Ultimate + STECS/ Virpil MongoosT50+ MongoosT50CM | K-51 Collective + custom AH64D TEDAC | HP Reverb G2 | Windows 11 Pro | |Samsung Odyssey G9 | Next Level Racing Flight Seat Pro The Boeing MQ-25A Sting Ray = Dirt Devil with wings My wallpaper and skins
Hobel
no longer works since the patch... Integrity Check fail. hope this is only a bug and not intentional, the thick lines are a nightmare.

fylzz
Does somebody know where I can change the stroke thickness for the F16 ? :Ryzen 5800X | RTX3090 | 32Gb RAM | Nvme SSD Gen.4 | Reverb G2 | Virpil WarBrd Base | Constellation Alpha Grip / Virpil CM3 Throttle

Just a guess so I could be wrong. DCS World OpenBeta/Mods/aircraft/F-16C/Cockpit/Scripts/Displays/HUD/indicator, then probably HUD_Page_defs.lua. Don't take my word for it I just did a quick look and that's my best answer.
Maxx_6dof
Hey Viperrg, the file path on my test rig is as follows. F:\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\F-16C\Cockpit\Scripts\Displays\HUD\device\HUD_init.lua that's where you'll find the stroke definitions.
