Shiroka
Realistic checklists for the RAZBAM AV-8B N/A Harrier II covering normal procedures and basic tactical checks. I fly in VR using VR Kneeboard so I wanted to create a set of kneeboards with as few pages as possible to cover normal procedures: start-up, takeoff, descent, landing, and shutdown, along with HOTAS commands and basic tactical checks. These procedures follow NATOPS as far as possible, augmented with detail from the VMAT-203 Flight Syllabus guide and other reference documents. The aim was to create a quick reference matching the real procedures as closely as possible. I tried to remove most things that weren't relevant to the DCS environment. WIP: I'm working on one or two more pages to cover the LHA case I/II/III departures and recoveries. Just need to find a good layout. WIP: Also working on an avionics guide as a kneeboard QR in lieu of the manual. I'm aiming for something similar to the Hornet Avionics Guide by bms130: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3300819/, basically how to do everything, trying to cover some of the less commonly used procedures such as NSEQ and TOT. Have about 3 pages so far, hopefully when done I'll add that to this. I want to give full credit here to @Minsky here because his awesome Hornet kneeboard suite is what inspired me to do this for the Harrier. His kneeboards are awesome, the Hornet one is here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3314313/ I know RAZBAM is currently making lots of changes to the Harrier (which is great) so I'll try to keep this post updated, and happy to hear any comments/feedback. War_Pig
Awesome job! I was literally wishing someone would do a great set of kneeboards for the Harrier like @Minsky did for the Hornet. I think he set a new standard for quality and comprehensiveness. I love the layout, and format. So I went and looked to see if there was anything similar for the Harrier, and lo and behold, you’d released yours literally a couple days ago! Thanks for putting the effort into these and releasing them! I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of them as you release them. I really like how Minsky gives RWR codes and stuff as well. One last thing if I might suggest, Minsky used black text for ‘must do’ items in DCS, and grey for ‘should do’ items like tests. If you could differentiate what must be done and what can be done it might make it easier for people like me who don’t test fire switches and stuff.

In the mean time on the last page there is a “scramble” checklist (also from NATOPS) which should give you just enough to get in the air. 1

Thanatos31
@Shiroka fantastic kneeboard. How accurate is it in 2022 after the changes Razbam made late 2021 ? I made a couple of minor changes, will try and upload a new version this week (been crazy busy IRL). Edited March 13, 2022 by Shiroka
agamemnon_b5
Question: Page 4 under VMC Section. What is "DI"? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

A number that represents a numerical summup of how much drag your aircraft has to fight because of loadout (bombs, pods, rockets...) I think this is found on vrest page. i7-14700KF 5.6GHz Water Cooled /// ZOTAC RTX 4070 TI Super 16GB /// 32GB RAM DDR5 /// Win11 /// SSDs only DCS - XP12 - MSFS2020

Thanatos31
@Shiroka - do you think you could add something similar to this to the knee board suite ? I was thinking CASE I, II, III sketches for recovery; a basic departure page for Shipborn Ops ? I think the latter can be very similar to the attached. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/de/files/3314314/ 2 Come fly with us : https://discord.gg/tawdcs TAW CJTF 13 - EU TZ MilSim Squadron Ryzen 5 5600X | 32GB DDR4 3733| ASUS Radeon RX 6700 XT | ASrock B550 Phantom Gaming 4 | HP Reverb G2 | Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle , F16 & F18 grips , TFRP Rudders | Win

They go quite well together. I'd link it, but I'm not sure about copyright etc.. if @baltic_dragonor Razbam gives the OK I can link a zip of it. Hopefully it could help improve the kneeboard suite as well. Otherwise the relevant pages are 354-365 in the manual that you can screenshot into PNG files as you need. The sizing is almost perfect for kneeboards. Pimax Crystal VR & Simpit User | Ryzen CPU & Nvidia RTX GPU | Some of my mods
