Hi ED,

Is there any chance to start thinking on the Ford class standalone development ?  Could be completed with  the F-18 E/F Super Hornet block III  from scratch , that would be challenging standing by for an accurate F-35C.

Almost certainly not, and right now only the E-2D fits.

Pretty sure there isn't a Superhornet (let alone a Block III which only entered service this year) planned, let alone an F-35C.

Lol Sorry I am from Gerald R Ford's Time line in history. I was in the USAF Presidential Honor Guard Washington DC Bolling AFB. Around Ford and Carter. President Ford was very Clumsy and fell down a lot it was a well known joke at the time. SNL Chevy Chase did a lot of G.R. Ford skits back in the day. LOL that's how OLD I AM.
