hazzer
Has anyone else got the requirement to set quite a lot of right aileron trim to fly straight and level? Wondering if it is by design as I'd have thought neutral trim would've been fine for a clean aircraft. Art-J
We all do, as noted in numerous trim-related posts ;). Clean or not, the plane still has both engines rotating CW and causing some CCW reaction, so it's not different from singles we've got in the sim previously. Now, whether between 1 and 2 divs to the right on the indicator is actually correct value, I don't know, but it is what it is. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10. hazzer
Oh bloody hell, I did search and found it odd that I couldn't see anything! RevMagnum
Strangely in full load I cant fly vaguely level without the trims full right aileron + rudder and full down elevator...I'm guessing the my aged MSFFB2 is the culprit as it has the tendency to mess things up in modern titles. contactlight
I haven't had to use aileron trim at all since I turned my roll deadzone off.
WolfhoundCH
On maximum continuous thrust (2650rpm, +7 boost), I use aileron trim to the first notch, and about 1/3 notch rudder trim to keep it straight and level. In higher power settings (I only fly low level, almost never climb above 5000ft, so my climbs are short), I just correct with stick and pedals.
