Leader98
Why do you think disconnecting the G2 would make any difference? When running Windows Updates disconnecting the G2 CAN make a difference as it happened twice until now that having the G2 connected resulted in a broken Windows update... Copprhead
I always unplug the power supply of the G2 when I don't have it in use. IIRC that is/was recommended the HP developers/product manager.

speed-of-heat
@Burt but as a general rule of thumb I turn off my g2 when I’m not using it, I have smart plug because it’s difficult to reach. 1 SYSTEM SPECS: Hardware Intel Corei7-12700KF @ 5.1/5.3p & 3.8e GHz, 64Gb RAM, 4090 FE, Dell S2716DG, Virpil T50CM3 Throttle, WinWIng Orion 2 & F-16EX + MFG Crosswinds V2, Varjo Aero SOFTWARE: Microsoft Windows 11, VoiceAttack & VAICOM PRO
Burt
Okay gotcha. This rig only comes on when I’m playing DCS and shuts down when I’m done. Thanks ! speed-of-heat
The g2 has a separate power supply, it’s recommended to turn it off. 1 SYSTEM SPECS: Hardware Intel Corei7-12700KF @ 5.1/5.3p & 3.8e GHz, 64Gb RAM, 4090 FE, Dell S2716DG, Virpil T50CM3 Throttle, WinWIng Orion 2 & F-16EX + MFG Crosswinds V2, Varjo Aero SOFTWARE: Microsoft Windows 11, VoiceAttack & VAICOM PRO
