My Custom 3d printed AH64 TEDAC MFD stl files. repeat. **MFD**

Recommended Posts

I had some trouble sharing my stl files for 3d printing.

i ended up using a leo bodnar bu0386a controller board
and 7" lcd CLAA070MA0ACW

***UPDATE***

one of the TEDAC MFD files are borked, uploading to thingiverse keeps messing the file up, even after uploading. so download the file here on DCS forums on this thread.

amazon 7x7mm buttons https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M2C5WTX?psc

FILES ARE HERE:

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5053148

and the middle MFD insert STL here: https://forum.dcs.world/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=308903&key=bba32ccd6071d72c918bcf167a5d27bb

enjoy.. i used too much PLA+ to make it lol..

and good luck wiring this thing... it was tough.

Thanks for the share.

Are you really using latching buttons? Aren't these supposed to be momentary ones?

Thanks, anything is helpful. I've ordered the screen, i did have an 8" one but that doesn't fit (duh). I'll work with an Arduino Pro Mini or Nano for the buttons.

Would you be willing to share the file for the trigger and the left grip?

Could model the trigger myself, but my CAD skills arent as good as my skill with electronics.

I guess for the left grip you could mirror the right one, but if i would want to have the hats there instead of the buttons, its quite the mess to make such a change from an imported mesh in fusion

Again, amazing work!

I found your files and am working on a build.  I redesigned it slightly to use a min stick and 4 way+push hats for the grips.  I mirrored the parts in tinkercad for the left grip and adjusted the controls to match the real one.  I have a 2 stage trigger designed.  I'm currently working on sanding and filling the right grip while the center parts are printing.  I plan to use 3 Arudino micros with a 6x6 button matrix and 2 axis (3 for the center section).  Thanks for sharing the files!!!

I have printed all of your designs and they are just awsome! Hope you are willing to share your redesign on these! Would really love if they were added on your google space😊

@hannibalafter print right grip i only can say you done an awesome job. Just need a little bit of sand paper and wire a lot of things. Various questions:

Did you think in any brand/model of three position switches? there is a holes to attach it but seems for a specific model. The same with 4 way switches. Or dou you just draw the holes and it's our part to solve how put a switch there? It could be comprensible.

At last, like other memeber asked before, there is the possibility to get the LHG stl? or do you planed just to mirror RHG?

I might be mistaken but I think he was using these for the toggles.

Hello Hannibal.

I wanted to ask you, if you could please put a list of all the controls and electronic components used in this project, especially the three position switches (On-OF-On) that you have used.

First of all thank you very much for sharing your project.

Hola Hannibal.

Quería pedirte si por favor puedes poner una lista de todos los mandos y componentes electrónicos usados en este proyecto, especialmente los interruptores de tres posiciones (On-OF-On) que has usado.

Ante todo muchas gracias por compartir tu proyecto.

the Tedac MFD, i used a leo bodnar board Bu0386 for button functionality.

but because there are just switches, you can also use arduino.. doesnt have to be a bodnar board.

i forgot what i switches i used in the TEDAC MFD.

i currently looking to make standalone mfd's.. ill try to share more info on that when i get my LCDs
