DataLink?

I'd like to know what era the F-15E made by razbam simulates? Can it be equipped with a data link?

I played the Jane's F-15 of EA. Because it simulated the F-15E during the Gulf War, there was no data link.

If razbam can simulate the data link of F-15E, it's good. I don't want to fly f-15c in LOFC anymore

Our F-15E is the Suite 4+ which is from around 2003, and that means we might get it. But take that with a grain of salt because I'm not an expert on the plane and this was all from my own quick research.

If I'm wrong in anything I said, please correct me.

Edit: It will get DataLink.

It will have the link16 D/L implemented per discord. It had it prior to suite 4+ (the one we're getting) so it's for sure going to be represented. It may not have all the features and sensor fusion the hornet has. But you'll have what's known as the SIT page which is similar to the SA page on the hornet with your D/L picture and symbology.

Not sure about the A2G functionality but I'm sure its got something. With the radar and D/L there's gonna be a zero chance of being snuck up on in the mudhen.

Will that datalink talk to any other types? Like A10C or Apache?

Neither the A-10C nor the Apache uses Link-16.

I can see that data link pod is available on center station.

The pod is for the TV guided AGM-130 which can be guided and/or locked onto a target after launch.

AFAIK JTIDS / Link-16 is an avionics upgrade, not a pod fitted to the aircraft

The A-10C actually does... Link16 uses JTIDS and EPLRS/SADL are applications... At least if Northrop Grumman knows how their Tactical Data Link systems work.

The Apache's is a different story. The Longbow network in the DCS timeframe is a separate datalink system, that doesn't interface with Link16, unfortunately.

I don't care about any datalink.

On multiplayer servers where F-15E serve, mainly modern, is a huge disadvantage compared to other players who got DLINK, so i need it badly.

is there like a picture or illustration of what the datalink page would look like?

As far as I know it will be on the TSD page, along with a moving map that can be turned off. For me it's feature #1, without it flying on servers against other players with DL is asking to be shot down, despite strong radar. Luckily now i'm in the phase of getting to know the plane, and i hope that once i'm combat ready, the DL will be available.

Yeah that's true. You think that we will get data link? I'm not sure if the F15E irl has it, I'll do some research but yeah I totally agree it would be great to have it.

it's a must to survive on F-15E era servers, after i spend a tons of hours on F-16, when i get into F-15 i feel blind, going to modern era server is not an option, maybye as cannon fodder... This should be first thing after initial bug repairs after F-15E launch.

don't disagree. Yeah, the radar is great, but you can't see what's next to you or behind you or whatnot. It needs to come sooner than later IMO.
