Speedtest shows 65+ Mbps!!! What the heck?! How to fix it????? 2nd day waiting.... waiting....and waiting..... Whatever the reason for reinstalling: moving it to a new PC, or moving to a new disk, or the current install is corrupt ... you dont need to reinstall. Just copy or move your current /program files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS/ folder to the new PC or new Drive, and then run DCS_Updater.exe /Repair from a command line. The utility will check your files and only download files that are missing, corrupted or have been updated .. which is much less GB to download than reinstalling everything from scratch. I get normal download speeds here, this morning I updated DCS and it took just minutes (didnt take a screenshot, sorry). Can you install DCS on a PC at a different location, say your office computer? .. it doesnt matter if the PC has high specs, just needs to install and then copy the folder to an external drive to take to your home PC. My ISP checked - same issue. route to servers is good.
