Nudi Posted November 23, 2021 Share Posted November 23, 2021 When I'm using radar in RWS SPOT mode I cannot lock target, when I pressing TDC depress it return to scanning. I can lock only when I press TDC RIGHT but it lock in STT mode, I would like to stey in RWS. Is it possible and is it correct to lock only by TDC RIGHT I=in SOPT mode ? Tholozor Posted November 24, 2021 Share Posted November 24, 2021 (edited) My understanding is that TDC Depress should exit SPOT, but the -742 doesn't specify if there's a difference between depressing over a trackfile versus depressing over empty space. My assumption would be that it should both exit SPOT and designate L&S, but I can't confirm that to be the correct behavior. TDC Depress on L&S will command STT. SCS Right will command STT on the L&S or TUC.
