Question before buying the campaign

Hi,

I love most of the campaign sold here, but I must question you about 2 details that are important for me :

1) Do we start the missions in a C&D (Cold and dark) cockpit or, hope not, hot one ?

2) Do we choose when to end the mission or is it an automatic ending (which I dislike) ?
