How to configure more than 4 Axes to button settings

Hi so last week I started with the CM3 throttle. Fantastic product.

I think I am hitting a software limitation though. It seems there are only 4 axes to button postions. I would like to have a few more. I know that by double clicking the individual axis I could set some bands, but that is not very useful.

For example I would like to set the large flaps lever to have 3 positions. All the way back, all the way in front and everything in between.

Anybody know how to get this done?

Thanks!

Thanks but I know that, as I wrote in my original message.

I am looking for more granularity in order to set up a fool-proof 3-way function for the flaps axis. In the double clicked axis tab I can only select one 20% zone as the middle. I would like to have a bigger zone so I don't need to worry and always know that when the handle is not fully in or fully out, it will be in the middle position.

I just checked your links. Actually also looked at your videos before. Great stuff! Well done.

try the beta software on the virpil forums it has more tuneable axis to button configs BUT ........ back your configs up BEFORE trying it ............. it also changes your device ID's ... so you loose all bindings 😞

Thanks, but I saw somewhere I could change VID/PID right?

So I could just write it down, save the profile, install the beta, load the profile and change the VID/PID?

The answer to this ballache is to use JoyPro.  It has saved my life under these circumstances many times.  When there is a change of device ID, JP just asks you if you want to swap an existing device. Select the one you want, and all is sorted.

As an aside, JP is so much more than just that.
