Wrench Posted January 14, 2022 Share Posted January 14, 2022 This has been mentioned in a lot of the individual planes' forums, but this is the closest to a "general wwii" section. The frequencies for the radios in the wwii birds can't be changed from the cockpit, given they were crystals that had to be changed in an avionics bay, but it would be nice to be able to have the ground crew change them though the comms menu or kneeboard. There are aircraft which can have laser codes changed etc. So this should be perfectly possible. People have been talking about this since the mustang came out all those years ago, so I'd really like to see it done. Especially so given ED's increased focus on wwii, which I fully support. Of course as a mission designer, I want to have the option to lock the frequencies like skins and tail-number since it may be important to the mission to be on a particular frequency.
