Bog9y Posted January 18, 2022 Share Posted January 18, 2022 I noticed that high drag bombs still land 100 mtrs or so from the aiming point when in a 10 degree dive and even level delivery. Backsoon Posted January 29, 2022 Share Posted January 29, 2022 I have experienced the same problem. I only fly the Viper. Laserguided bombs hit smack right, but GPS bombs guided by TGP hits short of target - in my case. Today I flew a testmission with one of my M8's and we observed something really stange. He dropped a JDAM with the TGP and he saw the bomb hit in front of the T90 only damaging it, but I saw the bomb hit on top of the turret and the tank obliviated - I was following the bomb via F6. Try to explain that! The attached pic is a screenshot from my M8- you can see that the bomb impacted short of the T90 and TGP crosshair spot on the vehicle. The target was static.
