Hi,

I downloaded an old mod which changes the russian letters to latin, so all is readable in english.

But I do not know where to put these files.

Can anybody help me out of this ?

P.S. I don`t use any mod-apps (OVGME etc.)

If it's the same one I have more or less, it should go into

Saved Games \ DCS \ Liveries \ Cockpit_Su-25T \ English \ the texture files and description.lua

You will then need to select the cockpit version from the specials tab, in game settings.

Sorry, but I can`t get it to work.

Could you please upload a screenshot of your folder. I`m missing a folder called "English"

The Su-25T custom cockpits should go onto the path \Saved Games\DCS or DCS.openbeta\Liveries\Cockpit_Su-25T\

Each cockpits goes onto its own separate subfolder  ... and that folder can have whatever descriptive name you want, like "English" .. for example, my DCS has three custom cockpits, like this:

8zOdCeA.jpg

These descriptive names are what you then will see inside DCS to select the custom cockpit, like this:

On my case, the % on the names indicates the % of cleanlines that the canopy glass has on each custom cockpit.

👍

Strangely this is the one that will not work .... I have the "ENGLISH" option under the DCS menu(s) but still not English in the SU25T cockpit ...

Strange, but not enough data to venture a diagnosis. 🙁

Doesn’t matter unless you have the English cockpit selected specifically for the Su-25T under the “Special” tab in the “Options” menu. Or is that the menu you’re referring to?
